Episode Description:
In this episode of The Zach Drew Show, we talk about obedience — and why following God does not come with a safety clause.
As part of this conversation, Zach shares why he will be traveling deep into the Peruvian jungle on a missions trip, and how this decision flows out of a broader biblical call to listen to God’s voice and respond in faith.
Through Scripture and teaching, this episode explores why obedience often doesn’t make sense in the natural, why both blessing and trials can follow faithful decisions, and why the Great Commission still matters today.
This is not a story about adventure or risk for its own sake. It’s a reflection on obedience, partnership in the body of Christ, and the many ways believers are called to participate — whether by going, sending, praying, or supporting the work of the Gospel.
Later in the show, Pastor Derek joins the conversation to share about the missionaries serving in Peru and what faith in action looks like on the ground.
This episode is for anyone seeking to follow God faithfully — whether that obedience leads across the street or deep into the jungles of Peru.
